Meet the Molly Moocow Team
Kate Renninson
Owner
At the heart of Molly Moocow you’ll find Kate. Her journey with Molly Moocow began long before she took over the reins in April 2016.
Back in 2006, Kate stepped into the Molly Moocow universe as a teacher, channelling her enthusiasm for early childhood development and music into each class. Her journey with Molly Moocow started when she brought her son to classes as a toddler. A son who is now 19 and at Drama school in London, a testament to the enduring impact of these experiences.
She’s a force to be reckoned with beyond the classroom. In April of 2023 to celebrate the businesses 20th birthday, she took on the incredible feat of running the London Marathon for charity. Therefore demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.
Kate’s life outside Molly Moocow is a joyful whirlwind. A mother to two daughters, now 24 and 23 and a son of 19, as well a wife, she’s at the centre of a bustling household that includes two dogs, two cats, and several chickens.
Her classes are a testament to her unwavering dedication to making learning fun, friendly, and educational for every child who walks through the door.
Amy Batchelor
Teacher
Amy’s educational journey led her to specialise in early years education during her time at university. Throughout her 10-year career as a primary school teacher, she has witnessed first-hand the profound impact that music can have on shaping young minds and fostering holistic growth.
After welcoming her second daughter into the world, Amy’s perspective on work-life balance shifted. Eager to continue her journey of guiding young hearts and minds while nurturing her family life, Amy sought a path that harmonised with her values. Molly Moocow emerged as the perfect canvas for her aspirations.
Now that her youngest daughter has started school, Amy has taken on an additional role as a primary school teacher, complementing her work with Molly Moocow. This dual focus allows her to continue inspiring children both in the classroom and through the creative magic of music and movement.
Amy has been part of the Molly Moocow family for just over two years, bringing her creativity and passion to every class she leads.
Beyond her professional journey, Amy is a force of creativity and artistry. Her love for music and theatre has propelled her onto stages, where she has brought stories to life through performance. This blend of creativity and education infuses her teaching approach at Molly Moocow with an unparalleled magic.
In Amy’s world outside of work, her role as a mother to two daughters remains central. She has passed her love of music down to her girls, fostering their creativity and curiosity. While her youngest once joined her in exploring new songs and melodies during classes, Amy now celebrates this new chapter as both daughters grow and thrive.

Lia Foray
Teacher
We’re thrilled to welcome Lia to the Molly Moocow family!
Lia’s journey to us is as unique as it is inspiring. She began her career in the magical world of the circus, where she spent 12 incredible years traveling across the UK and Europe as a ringmistress. Performing in front of thousands of families, she brought joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments to audiences everywhere.
After over a decade of sawdust and glitter, Lia decided it was time to leave the big top behind and embrace a more settled life closer to her family. But her love for performing and working with children remained strong. That’s when Molly Moocow caught her eye – a perfect opportunity to combine her passion for entertaining with a more personal, hands-on approach.
Lia is beyond excited to bring her energy, enthusiasm, and love of music and movement to our weekly sessions. She can’t wait to meet all the wonderful children and join them in singing, dancing, and making magical memories together.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Lia as she embarks on this exciting new chapter with Molly Moocow!
