Meet the Molly Moocow Team
Kate Renninson
Owner
At the heart of Molly Moocow you’ll find Kate. Her journey with Molly Moocow began long before she took over the reins in April 2016.
Back in 2006, Kate stepped into the Molly Moocow universe as a teacher, channelling her enthusiasm for early childhood development and music into each class. Her journey with Molly Moocow started when she brought her son to classes as a toddler. A son who is now 19 and at Drama school in London, a testament to the enduring impact of these experiences.
She’s a force to be reckoned with beyond the classroom. In April of 2023 to celebrate the businesses 20th birthday, she took on the incredible feat of running the London Marathon for charity. Therefore demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.
Kate’s life outside Molly Moocow is a joyful whirlwind. A mother to two daughters, now 24 and 23 and a son of 19, as well a wife, she’s at the centre of a bustling household that includes two dogs, two cats, and several chickens.
Her classes are a testament to her unwavering dedication to making learning fun, friendly, and educational for every child who walks through the door.
Amy Batchelor
Teacher
Amy’s educational journey led her to specialise in early years education during her time at university. Throughout her 10-year career as a primary school teacher, she has witnessed first-hand the profound impact that music can have on shaping young minds and fostering holistic growth.
After welcoming her second daughter into the world, Amy’s perspective on work-life balance shifted. Eager to continue her journey of guiding young hearts and minds while nurturing her family life, Amy sought a path that harmonised with her values. Molly Moocow emerged as the perfect canvas for her aspirations.
Beyond her professional journey, Amy is a force of creativity and artistry. Her love for music and theatre has propelled her onto stages, where she has brought stories to life through performance. This blend of creativity and education infuses her teaching approach at Molly Moocow with an unparalleled magic.
In Amy’s world outside of work, her role as a mother to two young daughters takes centre stage. She passed her love of music down, as her youngest daughter eagerly joins her in exploring new songs and melodies.
Jody Stewart
Teacher
We are thrilled to welcome Jody to the Molly Moocow family! With over 12 years of dedicated experience in the childcare sector, Jody brings a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for nurturing young minds.
Since embarking on her journey after school and college in 2011, Jody has been a cornerstone of various nurseries, fostering growth and development in countless little ones. Her commitment to creating a positive and enriching environment aligns perfectly with our values at Molly Moocow.
As her own daughter started nursery this September, Jody was determined to find a role that not only resonates with her passion but also allows her to be there for her little one during these crucial years. We’re excited that Jody has chosen Molly Moocow as the place to make this balance possible.
Jody’s dedication doesn’t stop at the classroom door. At home with her daughter and, at the same time, the most enthusiastic supporter, they dive into themes, songs, and activities, with her daughter’s spirited singing bringing an extra touch of joy to every practice session.
With her hands-on experience, infectious enthusiasm, and genuine love for what she does, Jody is set to enhance the Molly Moocow experience for both children and families. Join us in extending a warm welcome to Jody as she embarks on this exciting new chapter with us.
Welcome aboard, Jody!
